Rincon School is non-public school accredited by the California State Department of Education located in the Rincon Valley area of Santa Rosa.  We serve adolescent boys and girls in a special day class who are both LD and ED designated.  We offer year-round school with 335 teaching days a year.

We operate two sites in Santa Rosa.  The girls and boys are educated at the separate campus and all are on an individualized educational plan.   We participate in an inclusion plan with local high schools.

We offer our students small, structured classroom setting taught by a Special Education Teacher with an aide for every 12 students.

Rincon School is dedicated to the continuous education of its students, and has developed a comprehensive vocational training program to assist in the students taking ownership of their future.  The training program is designed so that the student will develop the skills to promote themselves as a valuable asset to a future employer.

In partnership with 1710 Coffee, students will learn the roles and responsibilities within a coffee shop.  This program is designed in modules that are divided into units, each of which focuses on a specific topic.  Student can individualize their vocational training by setting goals to complete the program at a pace that is challenging and mets their expectation.
