The Teen Relapse Prevention Program (TRP) is located  in Santa Rosa, California. Groups are held at this location Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. 

The TRP groups and other counseling services are free to all adolescents between the ages of 13 and 18 who have drug and/or alcohol issues. After meeting the criteria for admission and attending an intake interview, each client is welcome to participate in counseling groups, receive a treatment plan and crisis counseling.

The groups are based on a harm reduction model and drug and alcohol education. The confidential groups and counseling provide an atmosphere where adolescents are encouraged to explore their current drug and alcohol behaviors and they are provided education based on the latest research about substance abuse and its effect on the consumer. The groups are held in a supportive environment where teens are encouraged to find healthy alternatives to drug use.

Family Coaching began serving Sonoma County families in 2003.  Our program is rooted in family centered practice and family preservation models.  Our core value of this program is developing community partnerships that will improve each family's connection with their community. 

Over a course of a four to eight month program, our Family Coaches devote 8 to 15 hours each month with the family.  The coaches work with the family in their home where problems are dealt with in real time and solutions are based on practical, realistic changes.

During the course of the program, we focus on the following areas:

  • Communication, problem solving, and conflict management skills;
  • Family connection;
  • Setting boundaries and recognizing parental influences;
  • Identifying and accessing community resources;
  • Improving relationships to school, employment, and community.

Our family coaches come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, bringing various strengths to our team. The team model reflects our values of respect, accountability, support, and honesty.
